What is the minimum and maximum amount of guest that you can cater for?
We specialise in a personal dining experience for 2 to 20 people. However please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
What locations do you service?
We cater in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs .
What is the price per person for a 3 course meal?
This depends on the number of guests and the chosen menu. Please contact us for a personal quote.
What do I need to do as a host in preparation?
Simply have an area to dine in, point us in the direction of the kitchen and relax .
How does payment of the dinner party work?
We ask you to supply full payment 3 days in advance to the party so we have time to buy the best possible ingredients and pay for any additional event services.
In case of any cancellations, how can I get a refund?
You need to cancel any guest or function 48 hours prior to the evening as the food is bought and often marinated in advance to maximise flavour. If you decide to cancel at a later stage unfortunately we cannot give you a refund, this is because all food is bought in advance and we are often booked out and will likely have turned down other paying guests in favour your party.
What services apart from cooking does My Mates a Chef supply on the night?
You will get treated like you would in a restaurant with serving of food and drinks. We will also clean your kitchen (to the standard we find it in) following the meal and do the dishes. If you do not have a dishwasher an additional cleaning fee will apply
Can I request other food than what is on the menu on the website?
Yes, of course. We will try to cater for your every need
Will you cater for gluten free, vegetarians, vegan etc?
Yes, of course within reason however many different dishes may increase the price
